June 2002... Do you want to improve your chances for getting your research and program ideas funded? The John A. Hartford Center of Geriatric Nursing Excellence is offering a three day course in grant writing for gerontological nurses. Participants will have an opportunity to receive consultation on their research and program/project ideas from five well-funded nurse researchers and a statistician. The current chair of the Nursing Research Study Section, Dr. Cornelia Beck, will guide participants through the phases of proposal writing and review tips for success in funding.
