2005 Geriatric Nursing Student Extern, Chad Simon Chad Simon, a UAMS College of Nursing BSN Honors Student, began the Geriatric Nursing Summer Externship on May 31, 2005. The externship will last 8 weeks, and Dr. Claudia Beverly will be his mentor. Chad will have the opportunity to work with Drs. Cornelia Beck, Kathy Richards, and Elaine Souder. He will be provided with geriatric nursing experiences through the Donald W. Reynolds Institute On Aging and the Arkansas Aging Initiative and research experiences at the North Little Rock VA.
