Rebecca (Becky) Webb, a UAMS College of Nursing BSN Honors Student, began the Geriatric Nursing Summer Externship on June 1, 2004. The externship lasted 8 weeks and Dr. Claudia Beverly was her mentor. She had the opportunity to work with Drs. Cornelia Beck, Kathy Richards, and Elaine Souder. She was provided with geriatric nursing experiences through the Donald W. Reynolds Institute On Aging and the Arkansas Aging Initiative and research experiences at the North Little Rock VA.  Becky will graduate in May of 2005 and has expressed an interest in working at the University Hospital of Arkansas in geriatrics!
