Welcome The Hartford Center of Geriatric Nursing Excellence seeks ways for the elderly to maintain functional independence through interdisciplinary research, education, and leadership. A part of the UAMS College of Nursing, the Center was established with funds from the John A. Hartford Foundation, Inc. The UAMS College of Nursing is one of only five nursing programs in the country to receive this award.
